Very cool! I especially love the sea glass and the piece with the buttons and one of my favourite techniques (that you taught me)!!! Of course, I'm also attracted to all the circular (sort of) shapes....and all of your wonderful embroidery.....
beautiful stitching on the shades of gray. love the velvet circles and the sea glass. I am very attracted to shades of gray and have been gathering gray fabric - not easy to come by.
I could look all day at all those lovely stitches! I'm fascinated at all those lovely patchwork pieces with the different stitches. AND, I love the velvet sea glass! I'm in love...

Lovely, sublime, so exquisite...can't say enough, the workmanship in this piece is just wonderful...love the colours and shapes and background...xxx..julia
What a fun & inspiring post...your piece is beyond l.o.v.e.r.l.y....it is SCRUMPTIOUS!! I especially luv the way you have used the variegated threads. They add such dimension and your velvet glass-ions appear to be tumbling with the tide - perfection.
The most common seaglass colour is green. The rarest is the blue. we don't seem to make many blue bottles nowadays. Actually, with cans taking over it seems there is less and less glass. Must check out the seaglasslovers site.
I love the pieces you made Penny. I looked them up close so I could admire all the lovely stitching!!!! Never saw "seaglass" in my live (we don't live very close to the cost)but it's beautiful.
Penny, these pieces are wonderful - I'm especially drawn to those velvet circles and all your beautiful stitching on the grays, with the variety of colour and kind. Scrumptious!
Worth a long look! Very impressive!
