Oooh! These are just great! I love the whimsy she puts in all her pieces. Now what are the legs made of? It looks like floss, but that wouldn't keep it's shape, so must be some type of wired or waxed floss.
these birds are way too much fun! they look like they were made from recycled wool sweaters or something...i don't know if i could have controlled myself if i came across them for sale! they remind me of a quilt i made once called rockin robin.

ReplyDeleteThese birds are so fun. Thanks for sharing them Penny.
ReplyDeleteAM the legs are a thin wire that must come in all sorts of colours. They're not wrapped with floss at all.
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely birds!!!
ReplyDelete(I saw some felt birds in a shop a while ago ... and did NOT buy them. Already regretting it )
These are wonderful. I'm trying to make a flock of my own birds using punchneedle. So far they are too drab for me -- but I'll soon learn to fly!
ReplyDeleteEls, I often miss opportunities like that too!
ReplyDeletePenny, I've never done punchneedle. It looks like it takes a long time.
