I've been working beyond the moon.....
Bringing stars into the vast deep blue universe...
While beneath the moon and above the trees, snow and rain fall.
And there are ghosts of trees at the back of this piece too. Love messy backs!
The skies are done.
Now on to Terra firma beneath the trees.
I hope the story there unfolds with the same energy and clarity.
I'm eagerly waiting for a pic of the completed piece. Very neat so far!!
ReplyDeleteVery, very lovely. I think this is going to be a very meditative piece when you are done. I'm glad to see that other people have 'messy backs'! I can't seem to avoid them.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful piece! You are inspiring!
ReplyDeleteSo there is life behind the moon!!! Your piece is coming along nicely.....how soon until it's due?

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, peaceful piece Pennny. Love the scrunched up texture. I will now loook at my back-sides with a little less criticism, ha : ) Can't wait to see the whole piece and is Terra firma another separate piece or part of the bottom of this beautiful one ??

OMG this is so beautiful, the details are awwsome.
ReplyDeleteHi Penny- I'd love to see the whole of the second to bottom photo - sends tingles down my spine. Gilly
ReplyDeleteHow big is this cloth going to be Penny? I love what you've done so far. I'm so jealous! This is my second week of school after a month off. I'm starting to get back in the swing of things and will be able to schedule my stitching time after this week. The first week I was just mentally overwhelmed. This week is better. I can't wait to see more of this cloth unfolding.
ReplyDeleteHuGGs!
:~) Debi
My backsides are NEVER neat, no matter how hard I try to make them so. A lady I know does beautiful cross stitch and her pieces are perfectly reversible...gack!! Look forward to seeing your blue world in the entirety.
