Scratching a New Year

I have decided to continue

recording my days in stitch.
and as it snowed Mark's Donna celebrated a birthday.

We have had the most snow
 and
the lowest temperatures since moving to the Maritimes.

This year I am going raw edged again.
This year I am going to add smaller bits and pieces
of cloth to a base rather than the long strips used in the past.
This year the stitches might flow from one day to the next.
Every evening after dinner I will sit down and scratch away!

  1. That's a great idea - keeping the idea of the scratchings, but changing some of the application, to keep it fresh.

  4. This stitch journal will become more important with each year. It is a huge time commitment however, and my hat is off to you.

On and on and on we go.xx

  5. I will picture you at this time of the year, sitting down after dinner in the warmth of your home telling the day's tale through stitch.

  8. So glad, my year started in August so I will go until then and reasses. I am loving doing it, but yours is much more interesting than mine!
