Seven Days Scratched

Another week recorded
moving from blue to red
a sign that Christmas is coming

A flight of geese looking like hieroglyphs
I like that

Remembering the 'murder' of crows
with murder on their minds!
They really don't like eagles anywhere nearby.

Rain
at least it's not snow like other parts of Canada

Quilt guild
I begged a strip of cloth from Betsy
and stitched it down whilst catching up with everyone's news
Some sad and difficult to hear
and some happy.

Three strange looking days!
But great days nonetheless
Busy days with friends
Some of them creative play-writes and actors
and others gifted artists with whom I'll be having a show next year.

  4. Hi Penny...

Just have to say how much I absolutley enjoy my visit with your blog each week (daily when I can). You have inspired me in so many ways and I wish we were closer so that I could network with you and tag along on those hikes with the rusty pups...Be well, and please keep sharing. So inspiring to me and all of your followers.

    1. Oh, my goodness me...they are brave souls aren't they. I just saw an amazing photograph of an owl sitting in a tree with one solitary crow practically pecking it.

    1. Oh, thanks Kaite. Saw a photo of a huge waterspout in your part of the world. (Well probably nowhere near you but you know what I mean).

  10. Gorgeous, I love to see how more and more complex your scratchings are becoming. After my own attempt last summer I know how long it takes to emboider a day (and inspiration is not always quick to come).
