Thought if I doodled warming spiral energy
some of that glorious sunshiny weather
I've been hearing about
might come this way a bit faster!
It's time.
Think these words of wisdom from Goethe are sometimes just what I need.
"Whatever you think you can do or believe you can do,
begin it.
Action has magic, grace and power in it."
Hi there,
ReplyDeleteI like this warm doubble spiral! I hope spring and warmness will be there soon!
Göthe? Well, actually it's not "action" but "boldness", that has magic, grace and power in it.
I think that`s a little different meaning, isn't it?
:o) Doris from Germany - Göthes origin ;o)
Just shows you how things get lost/changed in translation!
DeleteOne of my favorite quotes and beliefs.
ReplyDeleteWonderful spiral. The Sun is one of my elements (as well as Water)and my personal symbol. Lets hope warm sun comes to you soon.
xx, Carol
Carol...After a wonderful meditation/creativity workshop years ago I learnt that the solidity of rocks was one of my symbols; but water really draws me in too. Then years ago the eagle also became one of my symbols...but I chose him he didn't choose me.
DeleteSending you very warm winds... and I think your drawing just might bring some warm sun.
ReplyDeleteLove the quote!
So is it thanks to you that last night the winds howled around my snug little home! We've lost a few more trees with recent winds.
DeleteHow lovely that is, Penny. And what a wonderful stitched piece it would make! Happy spring!
ReplyDeleteConnie....Spring is a funny season up here...we usually jump from winter to summer.
DeleteI gasped when this came on my screen. It's a powerful doodle, there's lots of amazing energy in that spiral.
ReplyDeleteI gather you've already had lovely warm sunny days over there. We need a lot of energy to get it to come over here now!
DeleteGorgeous -- hope it works :-)
ReplyDeleteNot so far, Lynette!
DeleteJust what I needed to see on this grey - inbetween winter and spring day! Thanks!!
ReplyDeletePenny....we really never get a spring...just right into summer when it comes!
DeleteDid I ever tell you that I love your blog... specifically your photos. The texture of the world is so interesting to me as a "wanna be" zentangler. Your texture photos are an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Terri, so glad you enjoy popping by. I suppose they look like zentangles because I'm generally thinking stitches when I do them.
DeleteOooh- love this!
ReplyDeleteWhy thanks Sue.
DeleteReally beautiful, I can just see it stitched up and it will be amazing! Sending warm thoughts from Australia - lol, it is pouring here, wettest and coldest Summer for decades!
ReplyDeleteHope that doesn't mean our precious summer will be cold and wet.
DeleteI love the quotation, and the doosle, of course!
ReplyDeleteOoh, gorgeous and so easily imagined in stitch. Fabulous evocative photos of the icy lakes.
ReplyDeleteGloriously warming to look at!
ReplyDeleteThis piece is gorgeous! I came to your blog via the Fiber Arts ring. Will visit again!
