Shadow of the Moon

of pin cherry bark.

  2. I think what we understand without it being said is the powerful essence of time that is in this beautiful piece. It's invisible to our eye - we can take in the image in a second, but the length of time that it took you to put the stitches in, to wait for them to be accepted and changed by the dye and cloth, and then to take them all out again - is felt.

    I find this piece very emotional.

  7. Gorgeous! The fine textures and coloring remind me of an ancient smocked bodice. And yes, I have rocks inside the house as well. Little cairns placed about.;)
