Ripped strips of cloth
couched down
around and around in circles
took over my life
last week
because
there is always a point
after months of work
when I simply can't wait to see
what the finished piece looks like.
So my plan for the daily scratchings was
to keep it simple
with anything but couching!
However....
In a midweek FT session
we watched in amazement
as our Baby Grand....
took her first steps.
Precious moments recorded
Congratulations to Baby Grand - one of these days you can show her how you recorded her first steps..!
ReplyDeleteSo SO Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteExciting, those first steps. Our first great grandchild is due in December. Can't believe I'm that old *smile*.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful...she will love seeing this documentation of her milestone when she's older!
ReplyDeleteLove, celebration and history combined!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm want to see that piece you've been sooooo busy with ;-)
ReplyDeleteAhhhh .... love the (little) steps (they grow up so quickly, enjoy every minute of it !)
I love those little steps you added to your scratching, Penny. You are several months ahead of me; our Princess C has recently learned to roll over. I didn't expect that a granddaughter could be so time consuming (in a good way) ... your granddaughter is very lucky to have someone record her 'firsts'!
ReplyDeleteThose first steps are such a milestone ~ our daughter turns 30 this month and I still remember the night she took her first steps!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to see those first steps! Our grand is almost ready to take his first steps too - he takes a couple and then scares himself and falls down. I expect likely he'll take off running one of these days!
