Love reading about you RP's :), much the same goes on at our house... right now I am rehabbing an orphan and while I never let my dogs see the animals I rehab, somehow one snuck into the room I've got him in (in a cage), and she sat and guarded the cage yesterday... I think she knows it's a baby, but she's probably saying "Mum, what the heck are you doing with one of these in the house", LOL!
Great photos! Our squirrels are amazing - they can climb three stores up the brick wall on our building to raid the bird feeder and, if we happen to startle them, they jump to the ground and take off running. It never ceases to amaze me that they don't kill themselves when they land on the ground.
I see this scene at my house at LEAST everyday. Its great entertainment.

How cute! The RP's would have a ball at our house because we have tons of squirrels - even white ones. Oh how they'd love it here!
ReplyDeleteHow the heck did you get a red squirrel to sit still so long? Ours are jet propelled and you only hear them whizzz as they tear past! Great pics.

ReplyDeleteIt's a constant amazement to me how much bad language squirrels know - I've seen one swearing the air blue because a feeder was empty!
