Nooks and Crannies in the Gardens

From afar they look deep in conversation

and getting closer you see that they are!
The work of Dawn McNutt

An Acadian house in the style of about 300 years ago

and then some surprising art

made with burs!
I know those things
they cling to everything
especially rusty pups

Rusty birds
my favourite

but on the other hand
there is nothing like a tree.

  1. I do so love art no matter where it's found. Outdoor art is special - but has nothing on Mother Nature.

  2. Love the rusty birds - but who in the world would work with burrs to make that 'person'? Yikes, even if you wore gloves those things would be all over you!

  3. The Acadian house intrigues me, a fairy house in the woods?

  6. Oh to get up close to all these wonderful things. That house! The burr sculpture is magnificent, where is this place? As usual, great photography.

  7. There is always a favorite...usually the one you are looking at right now. The birds are special, but then so are trees....xx, Carol

  9. Finally - a use for burrs! Definitely don't want to let the rusty pups near it though.
