Fuchsia in Bloom

 The sun came out!
And my magnolia simply had to burst into bloom in spontaneous celebration.

 Simply wondrous.
And a hummingbird whipped past me as I walked the garden.
So their feeder is now up, ready and waiting for them.

A fuchsia meeting point perhaps....
or a fuchsia explosion.
Rusty brown and fuchsia look good together.

Could be bird migration routes across a fuchsia landscape.

  1. Wow, I bet that Magnolia is magnificent. The lady across the street has a beautiful pale pink one. I have never seen a fucsia one.

This project looks interesting and you are right, the colors go together.

  2. Fuchsia is an interesting colour.

  3. beautiful interpretation of your fuchsia flowers.

  4. I had to look twice there, to see where the real flowers ended and the stitched ones began. It's a lovely colour combination, particularly those orange tones.

  5. a fuschia Spring at last, how beautiful.

  6. Magnolias are such magnificent trees. I'm so glad that my closest park has a whole bank of them to enjoy, plus a few neighbors. I just love that bottom picture, it certainly makes me want to migrate.

  7. Great interpretation of your magnolia with thread and fabric.

  8. How lovely to see spring bursting out after the long winter you had. Love the combination of fuschia and 'rust'!

  9. Penny,
I am so inspired by your needlework. This interpretation of fushia is better than the real thing. The color and stitches are mystifying or intriguing.

  10. Indeed -- fuchsia and rusty brown DO look wonderful together. :)
