This week I decided to challenge myself
to use one of my least favourite stitches.
Solid areas of chain stitch....
....have created a wonderful tactile piece
soft to the touch
Perhaps I have found a way of using chain stitch
in a way that I like.
It looks woven -- perfect!!!

Like all stitches, chain stitch has its place. In this case, a rather nice texture!
ReplyDeleteUsing chain stitch (which, I agree, is rather boring on its own) in this manner makes it wonderfully textural. I like whipping it too (which sounds rather cruel, doesn't it!)
