Threads of Thought on creating with cloth and stitch
i love the thread colors, penny. it draws me in and reminds me that there is more to rust than orange and brown!
Lots more to learn and explore!
feeling the needle bite the metal, backing off and refinding the clear spot, the empty space where the threads are not harsh. I can feel this action with my eyes closed. my rust stitching had too many spots of my own blood mixed in.
Oh, yes, the blood!
The colour combinations are lovely, and you're creating such intriguing patterns!
Randomly!
Love the colours. I love the idea that you stitch with the flow of your fabric...lovely.(Have you ever joined in The Needle & Craft Network http://needleandthreadnetwork.blogspot.ca/)
Thanks for that info Mary Ann. I wasn't aware of that gathering place for Canadian stitchers.
This is so very cool, Penny. Lovely trip through a gorgeous, fascinating piece of fabric!
It's a slow journey...need more hours in the day!
reminds me of the W B Yeats line 'tread softly for you tread on my dreams'.
Looking fabulous. I love the way the stitches nestle into the fabric.
Thank you for taking the time to comment, your thoughts are most welcome.
