Threads of Thought on creating with cloth and stitch
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...love the seeding:-)(It's my favourite!)
A single seed can go unnoticed but a crowd has so much potential!
all the adjectives i could use are just not right, so i will simply say geez............... :)
amazing. looks like some kind of map revealing itself in the open spaces.
Can't wait to see what you are up to. I love cutwork.
Oooh Penny, these stitches in the holes, the buttonhole stitches and aaaaaaall those "seeds" (It's becoming a wonderful "garden")
See, hand and machine stitches CAN still live together in harmony!!! The layered aspect is amazing!
BTW, I'm a gonna try this just as soon as I finish the one I'm working on teach!
Hi Penny - wonderful rich colors here- I love the seed stitching. Your work is always interesting - even though this was done some time ago it looks very contemporary - very exciting. Gilly
Love this!! So much work and done beautifully (as always). Can't wait to hear what kinds of ideas it has evoked in you.
incredible stitching here, and this idea of your sounds so interesting...
Glad you like the stitching! Some people call me the queen of embellishment...I suppose because I never know when to stop!
That's just cool! Neat effect with the cut outs, the color changes and the embroidery.
Thank you for taking the time to comment, your thoughts are most welcome.
