A Painterly Week

Taking classes are good for the soul!

Monday found me driving from my home in the woods
on the Fundy side
to Chris's home on the cliffs of the South Shore.

On Tuesday we drove to Chester Art Centre
for a two day workshop with Heather Sayeau.
As we painted on Wednesday
cameras were rolling outside.
They were filming 'Haven' a TV program.

On Thursday we painted in Chris' studio.
Before driving home we visited
the Westcote Bell Pottery where I
couldn't resist a couple of treasures.

On Friday a group of us drove to Sandy Cover.
a Tiny village on the Digby Neck.
We went to hear Kaffe Fassett
talk about his love of colour and design.
We were all amazed he came to our little corner
of this world.
