Threads of Thought on creating with cloth and stitch
Your February stitchings are pretty impressive. What will you do with this sampler when you are done?I always wonder about the purpose, besides art, creativity, self-satisfaction.I hate to see projects folded and put on a shelf. I always want to know that a piece has a purpose.
I agree with Carol, I like to make something with a purpose as well, but I am sure that you will not let your beautiful embroidery become dusty on a shelf! Very inspiring, as always.
Your pen and ink drawings inspire me, Penny. And your stitching, always. -sus
i am taken by those leaf stitchings and your combination of colors.
awesome stitching, Penny!
Lovely leafy lines - both stitched and drawn.
What delightful stitches and drawings.
You got a lot done in January, didn't you!
Love your leaf drawing...I am very drawn to leaves, their various shapes & colours are amazing.
Beautiful stitching, i love the colours you've used together.
Your thread scratchings look wonderful....will you do one for each month of the year. I love how they have turned out.Jacky xox

Your stitching is gorgeous Penny(as are your drawings ;-) !!!)
Oh you've done it again. Lovely 'scratchings' - but I'd rather call them 'art' *smile*.
