Another foggy day.
The clouds hovering over the smooth rocks of Peggy's Cove.
This is on the Atlantic side of Nova Scotia.
On my side, the Bay of Fundy side, the rocks seem more rugged and wilder.

The lighthouse stands tall on the highest rocks
proclaiming to be the king of the castle.
proclaiming to be the king of the castle.
And the Atlantic ocean laps deceptively calmly around the rocks today.
But on a stormy day this is not the place to be.
Gosh I love the pictures you post of the area where you live. I have never traveled to the east except for Niagra Falls Canada about, well 40 years ago this coming August. I keep telling my husband we need a vacation. I told him the next dog I get will be smaller so he can travel with us.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
xx, Carol

So beautiful. Someday I want to visit this corner of the world. One of my great-grandmother's was from Prince Edward Island so I've always felt drawn to this area.

ReplyDeleteHey Deb; do drop by when you come!
ReplyDeleteAracne; a very dangerous place in a storm.
Sweetpea...you're welcome!
Yvette...as you know...so glad to have you back.
Valerianna...Perhaps I'll carry on scouting around!
Filamental...That piece is called Rockbound!
Carol...As soon as you get that wee dog, come on by!
Someday I want to go back to Peggy's Cove and actually get some time to see it properly. Last time I was there was 31 years ago and it was a flying trip.
