Some Feathered Friends

Messenger between us and the heavens.
Always a special sight
especially on this day
the twentieth anniversary
Thinking of you Steven.

Every morning at sunrise
I visit with the osprey
on my way to the dike
with the Rusty Pups.
I hope there are babes up there
but haven't seen them so far.

Beneath the osprey every single buoy
usually has a single cormorant perched on top.

And here is the seagull with his huge breakfast.

  1. A very big, warm and loving hug.

  2. Beautiful thoughts and pictures. I'm sending along a hug also.

  3. Be fair to the cormorants - you couldn't get two of them on a buoy!

Thank you for taking the time to comment, your thoughts are most welcome.
