Are we sitting comfortably?
Then we'll begin
We walked this mighty beach
Here the lowlands behind the beach
are protected
by a mighty wall of stones
Some stones escape
and help form
beautiful gatherings of people shapes
down on the water-line
Serenity. How did the cat play in?
ReplyDeleteThe cat resided with one of the people we picked up to go for the beach walk!
DeleteOh I love rocks like these -- I always want to fill my pockets with them and take as many home with me as possible!
ReplyDeleteMe too...did that!
DeleteThat looks a lot like Cherry Hill Beach, which is a hop, skip and a jump from my front door!!
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly it! So do you live in Broad Cover or even closer?
DeleteI live in Cherry Hill. Love walking the beach with my dog especially early in morning its as if the beach is mine alone.
Delete...so I guess the next stitching project will be a family of dolls then?...
ReplyDelete...and a cat of course :-)
Just loved those shapes in the sand...don't think I'll be working on a cat though.
DeleteA mighty beach indeed - gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI'm smiling because I spent many a childhood summer's day playing on Bournemouth beaches. Those beaches were so busy and full of bustle. Here the beaches are mostly left to the birds with just a sprinkling of humans.
DeleteOh, I miss walking by the seashore! This is lovely. So is the kitty!
ReplyDeleteAnd yet there is nothing like clambouring over the rocks of Georgean Bay!
Deletea gathering of burqua clad women, silent.
ReplyDeleteYes, silent and soulful.
DeleteI'm away for two weeks.. seeing kitty has me wishing I could see my Pasha!
ReplyDeleteYes, that kitty was just like Pasha wasn't she!
DeleteWomen of rocks made me gasp in their beauty.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your daily visions.
They were beautiful in their simplicity weren't they.
DeleteI hope you will be recreating the women of rocks in your scratchings? Very powerful image.
