The pups and I try to start our walk just before the sun rises
at the moment
because as soon as the sun appears
wave after wave of honking geese fly over us
some more organized than others.
We sometimes aren't the only ones watching
as a gazillion starlings fill up every inch of telephone wire!
And such lovely clear skies to watch them against!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning!!
ReplyDeleteIts a holiday weekend here with 3 days off work. Rain from Issac headed our way to make it soggy..but who cares. Its the way of the world.
It seems we only see lots of Starlings here during nesting season and the winter. They are a noisy lot!
Have a great weekend.
xx, Carol
That is definitely something worth getting out early for.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh -- those starlings look like teeny, tiny black stitches on a wire!
ReplyDeleteWow... amazing bird-times for you!
ReplyDeleteBut it's too soon for the birds to be heading south and flocking up getting ready to go!! Nooooooooo.....tell me it isn't so!
