Handy Hubby has a new camera...
Just look at that glorious moon out there in the heavens.
A bit closer to earth but still quite far away
you can see the individual needles atop a spruce.
Even I got the play with it...but my focus ain't so good!
One gallant rose still working at being beautiful
even though thoughts of lighting winter's fiery logs
often occupy our minds nowadays.
It's been raining cats and dogs here
so the poor mourning doves are looking a bit bedraggled.
Pity they can't order take-out in this kind of weather!
It's rained so much that the stream has decided to go over the bridge!
I'm in Halifax for the week and class is about to start!
Will be back at week's end
when hopefully I can get back to some stitching in the studio.
It's been a long time.
Oh now I want a new camera!!!
ReplyDeleteWow - I'm impressed with that camera. And how exciting that you'll be at India Flint's workshop. I imagine you'll return so inspired and can't wait to see what you do!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that the birds were still enough so you could photograph them. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHave fun in Halifax.
Great pictures. I tried to take a picture of the moon once recently. I realized my hands shake. I don't notice it, but the camera was not still. Kind of shocked me ~lol~ Guess I need a tripod on those occasions.
ReplyDeleteGet a good photo is such fun! Nice moon :)
ReplyDeleteWe had a 30 second downpour today in the October sun!
hihi I know where you are and mentioned you and the rusty puppies.....
ReplyDeleteIt's astonishing to see how much better the cameras are now, isn't it.
ReplyDeleteAnd oh, that poor mourning dove - very bedraggled!
Fabulous pictures! Have fun this week - I'm sure you will.
