Mornings in July

Streamers of fog move up and down the dike

Our little fox friend waits at a safe distance as usual.

One morning a field became striped....

....and the next day it had turned to dots in the mist.

We spied a couple of crows scavenging
on the edge between dike and water.

  1. Strange, isn't it, that fog sometimes looks magical, and sometimes chilly, and sometimes downright spooky. Is there any other weather with such varied moods?

  2. I love fog. Probably because I grew up at the beach. It always seems so mysterious as if the most magical of something could appear from within or the scariest of scary -- of course I prefer the magical anytime. Love your red fox!!

  4. I think the fox must look forward to your walks just as much as you do.
