Going Back in History

We visited Port Royal....

with it's chequered seams
and cannon on guard.

Row upon row of stitched thread perhaps.

Rusty pups had fun.

The beauty of a chestnut tree with conkers carpeting the ground beneath.

Not so beautiful angry clouds over the end of goat island.

  1. The textures of the wooden buildings certainly have potential, don't they!

  2. I love weathered wood and have a particular fascination with old neglected barns and outbuildings. Maybe someday I'll find the time to try to recreate them in fabric.
