Might be interesting to bring up some cloth a wrap a few of those rusty bits right there in place when its raining.
This color combination reminds me of the desert around Sedona, Arizona. The rusty colored mesas and stone formations against a clear blue sky.

It surprises me how we develop an eye for inspiration that can come for the most unusual sources.
