Letting you know
I am still stitching away for this
and slowly getting my mind around
all the administrative stuff....
....as well the six hours it is going to take us
to drive up there!
Will also have to steel myself
for a big opening
since the SAQA show
Structures will also
be there.
It is so natural to stitch away in my studio
openings are not so much!
But galleries full of textiles
is always a good thing.
Wow, hope all goes well. Wish I could be there.
ReplyDeleteOh good luck Penny... not that you 'll need it. You'll do great! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteSo many congrats Penny and to SAQA Atlantic Canada members - may this be the opening that inspires many more entries for My Corner of the World- Canada. Can't wait to see what you have for us Penny. Please just enjoy every minute. Wish I could be there!

Openings can be very nerve wracking! But I know you will SHINE. Your work is beautiful. If I were there I'd be fawning all over you your art *smile*.
ReplyDeleteI understand the quiet pleasure of stitching away...preparation,openings, chit chat are another side of that coin...congratulations and joyful moments with other mostly quiet stitchers!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, hope it all goes well
ReplyDeleteGood title too. I haven't ever done a show, so I can't even imagine what you are going through, but I ....knock on wood for you. Cross my fingers? Oh wait, then I can't stitch....Oh you know what I mean.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, I wish I could come since I think there is little hope for the show traveling to Europe?
ReplyDeleteIndeed so - there isn't enough textile art on display, so you are helping to redress the balance!
ReplyDeletecongratulations, penny
