Last night's snow really clung to everything.
Can you still tell a stream should run through those alders?
Whiteness clinging to every tiny twig.
Tall and elegant Spruce.
Branching Elm.
Got to love those trees.
They are offering protecting to many a critter
but this harsh, snowy winter is very hard on
all the inhabitants of these woods
and the mountain beyond.
My goodness, snow again? When is your Spring?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures but I'm wondering if you're getting very tired of the color 'white'!

ReplyDeleteLooks really cold, I can understand how you would be looking forward to warm spring weather.
ReplyDeleteBreathtakingly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAmazing beauty! I can't believe how much snow you are having. Is this normal for this time of year.
ReplyDeleteHere in Melbourne, Australia, we have had beautiful warm Autumn days of approx. 25c but today it is down to 18c and a sudden cold change is suppose to be coming thru this afternoon, with a wind chill factor of 5c. Here's hoping Spring and some sunny days are coming soon for you.
Hi Penny... you got the snow and we did too, but not as much. Looking at your beautiful, detailed photos each time you post the landscape in NS is a stunning reminder that as artists we should and can appreciate all the beauty that surrounds us where we live.
ReplyDeleteSo loving your continuing journey with stitch...be well and know that the REAL spring is not far off dear friend!
Bethany
