Perhaps winter is waning.
On Monday fourteen of us met at Laurie's home
Some of us knit great socks!
Not me...I never did finish my one attempt!
Handy Hubby looked out the front window
and there on the front porch was a mink
looking back at him.
Mark and Donna have set a June date for their wedding.
Handy Hubby went down the road to help a friend
bottle his wine.
Time on Face Time organizing
Taking snapshots of this week's scratchings
I smashed my one year old camera
against that rock
and now the lens cover is smashed into a thousand pieces.
Oh joy!
Supposed to illustrate "springing forward"
'cos we jumped forward to daylight savings time.
Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear about your camera - it gave you so many really wonderful pictures. Yes, we 'lost' an hour this past weekend also. I'm not a fan of daylight savings time but I shall adapt!
ReplyDeleteWe are now researching the latest cameras and am frustrated that they seem to have got rid of 'digital' macro. Don't understand why. It was my favourite feature. It meant that I could focus in and out in macro. Now I'll have to lean over and get close to whatever I want to take close-ups of.
DeleteThat's sickening about your camera and they're not cheap things to sort out, either. :os Love the scratchings, especially the line of sock-making sock-wearing little people!
ReplyDeleteThat camera was only a year old! I think I'm going to have to go bigger this time. Yes, whenever that group gets together I look forward to making the stick people.
Deletesad about your camera. love the 14 joyful ladies.
ReplyDeleteIt's only a year old!
DeleteI think we're due to jump forward next Sunday, and in the lead-up, the snow has returned....
ReplyDeleteI know, you're snow has been on the news over here. That was quite a storm for Europe.
DeleteBummer about the camera! However, for some reason, I was very excited by the mink sighting!
ReplyDeleteWe weren't too thrilled...worried that he might move in under the deck! However, we have since learnt that they are too shy to live among us but like to go exploring.
DeleteThat's amazing to see a mink that close! So sorry about your camera...hopefully you can get a replacement part?
ReplyDeleteWe have quite a few mink in these parts...including mink farms which are not too popular with us locals. Don't think we can replace the parts...it was the whole lens shutters and coverings.
DeleteI love the 14 ladies and their socks!
