Starting our walk
It looked like early morning mist rising
But in fact it was descending
and soon we were walking
in a thick pea soup fog.
Back at home I stitched a bit more
on last Sunday's scratchings.
Good luck to all of you
in the path of this monster storm coming our way.
Love the grasses in last Sunday's scratching!
ReplyDeletePainting grasses is so much easier than stitching them isn't it!
DeleteA day to be spent near the fireplace, with a cup of chocolate, a slice of cake and of course some needlework
ReplyDeleteOooh, yes, hot chocolate....wonder if I have any!
Deletethinkking of you and all in the storm...keep safe
ReplyDeleteWe're just on the edge of it. I think poor Jude will be blown away.
DeleteGorgeous pics as usual, Penny. I used to read the Misty, Moisty Morning poem to my babe when she was wee☺ Good luck to YOU in the light of our "friend", Sandy? My sis is RIGHT on the shore on the other side of the Province at Mahone Bay! Fingers crossed for all of you. God bless!!
ReplyDeleteWe're going to be fine here. How about you all in Ontario?
DeleteSuch beautiful stitching and photos! The perfect thing for this soft, wet Sunday . . . or any day, really.
ReplyDeleteHow's Pennsylvania doing in this 'Sandy' storm? Stay safe.
DeleteBe safe Penny - hunker down with your stitching and the RP's!
ReplyDeleteThink we're going to get off lightly. But a day by the fire with the RP's and some stitching sounds good to me.
DeleteSleepy mist and water fowl in love...beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteYes, mist is beautiful but only now and then.
Deletewonderful photos, penny! you and yours are in my thoughts. bunker down and enjoy your needles while mother nature plays with hers!
ReplyDeleteWe'll be fine up here...more worried about Jude and others in that area.
DeleteKeep warm and safe together like those birds on your scratchings, Penny !
ReplyDeleteThink we're going to get off lightly with this one. I'm worried about Jude though.
