That Was The Week That Was

One week in the life of a scratching

The cutest young raccoon wandered towards the bird feeders
in broad daylight

The young Blue Jays are screeching
at their mothers
for more and more food

Thursday was acrylics class again
we drew and struggled with perspective!
Then
staying on the South Shore with best friend Chris
meant awakening to island vistas

Fourteen stitchers of quilts
Each one unique
each one an artist
gathered on Saturday
sharing and supporting each other
and our work

  1. Your daily stitches are so much fun to see. You really life in a way most of us don't. I'm sure you have routine, as all of us do, but you always find one thing each day to focus on that had some effect on you, no matter how small the incident. I don't think I have that talent!

  4. Hi, Penny. I see you're on a roll!--ok bad joke. Anyway, I find it fascinating to see how you record life as your project develops. Very lovely. It would appear that it's becoming an encyclopedia of stitches.

  11. I thought that I commented on this last night, but don't see it anywhere. Is blogger going crazy or am I? Like the others, I love the happy, dancing stitchers! Where would you be in the chorus line?

    1. Probably one of the larger ones dressed in black! Sometimes it seems to slow down or in your case miss completely doesn't it. I find the more replies I do the slower it gets.
