Fallen Trees and Forgotten Bundles

Windfall

Black Birch perhaps
but
Handy Hubby thought
I was barking up the wrong tree
Ha!

Yams maybe?
....but no....
forgotten bundles from two weeks back
patiently waiting the unbundling ceremony.

Unbundled
A shadow of a maple leaf
and hazy purple blobs from Rudbeckia left drying all winter.

Striped gentle browns.

  4. The unwrapping is so delicious...there seems always to be something miraculous. Do you soak the cloth in soy milk or vinegar beforehand?

    1. Yes, delicious indeed.....no pre-mordanting being done at the moment.

  7. Fun to see the results of your bundles. I tried that once and buried mine in the compost, proceeded to forget about it until the following spring when Jack came in muttering about fabric getting wound up in his garden tiller. Oops.
