A daily sketch but more of a doodle.
It started off as tree bark
How things change when we're in control.
Perhaps not as smoothly as we would like
A bit too much here
or not enough there
fragmented
but the spaces allow us to breathe.
There is a flow in the empty bits.
Very nice, Penny. I think with bark like this, the tree must be magnificent. I, too, have been in my sketchbook every day but have ended up doing intensely detailed zentangles mostly. They are only for fun but I see possibilities for free motion quilting in there and they are VERY good therapy for my silly right hand.
ReplyDeleteI know...and your sketches are so very good.
DeleteI constantly have to remind myself that sometimes less is more , that the empty spaces are just as important as the details.......love your doodle! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteThat's something we all have to resist...the temptation of filling every square inch!
Deleteha. space....
ReplyDeleteA bit like being fragmented.
Deletea new kind of zentangle. love it.
ReplyDeleteLess tangled.
DeleteA doodle with charm and "flow"
ReplyDeleteAlways trying to go with the flow!
DeleteLooks a bit like the deep sea .... ;-)
ReplyDeletei admire, again, how much 'color' you achieve with black and white. -sus
