Yellow Bookends

Outside yellow unfurls in the garden.

On the deck fuchsia scraps make a cosy upscale nest.

A purplish sea to cool things down on a summer's day.

Speckles in a sea of........chaos perhaps.

And back to the garden where yellow abounds.

  5. I would love to see the bird that would have that nest - I can only begin to imagine the colours of the feathers...or would it be a drab bird, all browns and nondescript?

  6. I do love the purplish sea, I just learned how to make the lattice smocking and I thing it is terrific the use you made of it.
