Curls

Garlic curls find their way into every salad and dish at this time of year.

I've made a few things that curl.
Some of them roots.

Some of them spirals.

Some of them coiled around a shape.

Some of them turn up in unexpected places.
All part of the feminine psyche.

  2. Love all those curls! My garlic isn't doing very well this year. I think too much rain this spring.

  6. I love looking at those stitches up close and personal! So many times you can't click them larger on some blogs. I loved studying all the curves and fill-in stitches. You work is lovely and the photos are wonderful!

  10. I like them all, especially the follow your bliss. Joseph Campbell?
Swan is lovely and the stitching really pops.
Spirals live in my visual vocabulary, too.

  11. Fabulous colours and textures, as always, Penny. I've spent most of my life wishing my hair would curl. It won't.
