Seed Protection

Amazing piece of engineering to house tiny poppy seeds....

Hairy shields Keep things or critters away from stacked disc-shaped seeds within.....

Safety in numbers...Wonder how many seeds were stacked in each tube....

Seeds have worked their way underground in the Rooted cloth.

  2. And it's beginning to get that lovely feeling when layers are made into one with heavy stitching.

  10. Oh! I love all that delightful stitching!!! I'm finding the love of heavy stitching myself. So relaxing... so gratifying as it builds.

  12. And unfortunately I've had to put down my Rooted stitching for a while. I've committed to making a Christmas Tree centrepiece for our local art society fund raiser. For me this means big pressure for a few days!
