There's quite a heavy current there so it has to be below freezing for a number of days before it will freeze over. I think it's interesting to ponder what made that 'hole' in the ice in the first picture - looks like something was trying to escape from beneath! Stay well - stay safe.Magpie's Mumblingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09852241848575954128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-639265697684362917.post-91486742683838972672020-03-20T16:35:14.672-03:002020-03-20T16:35:14.672-03:00Your stitching is beautiful and your photos look l...Your stitching is beautiful and your photos look like wonderful fun.
We don't have ice or beavers here.
I did see a seal playing in the waves the other day.
Thanks for sharing your world.Janiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11494933770754796059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-639265697684362917.post-72359863826155127542020-03-20T04:27:16.163-03:002020-03-20T04:27:16.163-03:00I do like your piece Penny. Dale and I walked the northern trails today above our home and there is no snow left - one small patch of ice and the hills are draining runoff into creeks that are very high. Rain tonight!
