Moon Crumb - Week Thirty-Nine

Well...is it a moon?
Perhaps moons occupying a moon!
Perhaps the sun which is cooler nowadays
or
perhaps just a balloon with a tail.

It seems that all these crumbs are never planned
they just become.

One thing I do plan is making early morning time
to do Tai Chi on the wharf
with a bunch of diehards.
The water is always different

Some mornings it's hard to remain focussed
The birds are always entertaining.

The light is always different.

Have a great day.

  1. Hmmm, it sort of looks like a creature from the shores. That tail certainly would get him around, skimming over the sand. I have to say, I LOVE the colors/tones/shades you're using these days.

  7. Dear Penny,

Beautiful work/stitching. I'm a new follower of your blog and I have a few questions if you have the time to answer them. I would love to do some fabric journaling of my year like you did for 2012.

    (1) what size are the crumbs and scratches you use as a base for your sewn pieces?
    (2) did you make the 2012 year in stitches by doing one section at a time and then stitched each new section?
    (3) Do you start with 2 light weight pieces and a stitching plan and then add a 3rd piece to the back to cover the stitching?

I am a beginner tai chi student but haven't been able to practice because I fell and broke 2 vertabrae in my spine. My tai chi teacher says she can teach me to do chair tai chi work. I'm planning on giving it a try this week.

Thanks for your time with my questions.
    Sincerely,
    Marrianna, Flagstaff Arizona USA
