....And On To Week Twenty Four

there are cross forms even in nature.
My playmate Diane and I
spent the most glorious sunny day on Brier Island
this tiny island mostly owned by the Nature Conservancy.

This week's crumb is of course inspired by that rocky find.

A memory of a wonderful day.
Perhaps these Crumbs from the Cutting Room Floor
are turning into more of a journal after all.

Meanwhile in the garden the peonies
are starting to open and look glorious
in sunshine....

....and shade.

  1. The peonies are rather stunning, aren't they...
I'm sure your Crumbs will become at least partly journalistic. Even if it isn't clear to anyone else, they will remind you of things, as if you had written a diary about them..

  2. Oh the peonies are beautiful! Ours have come and gone ever so quickly! I love the way you used nature in this latest stitching.

  4. Reading your post title made me think of the 'Cash For Life' lottery ads. Of course maybe you don't have that one where you are? Peonies are such stunning flowers - it's just too bad they don't last.
